Welcome to the Medicines Management 2010, the 36th SHPA National Conference Website
Medicines Management 2010, the 36th SHPA National Conference, will be held in Melbourne from November 11-14. This year's central theme of 'Staying Alive' will showcase innovation and developments in hospital pharmacy practice, with particular focus in the areas of chronic disease management and infectious diseases. A dedicated technician program will feature speakers from around Australia demonstrating novel approaches and expanding roles of pharmacy technicians. The contributed paper and poster sessions will allow delegates to showcase recent advances and updates in hospital pharmacy practice.
The conference will be held at the recently re-developed Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, with state of the art facilities and stunning waterfront views. Centrally located, delegates will have convenient access to the city's hotels, public transport and all of Melbourne's famous attractions.
Delegates are strongly encouraged to use the social program as an opportunity to network and socialise with colleagues. For your convenience all social events will be held at the Convention Centre, culminating with the ever popular gala dinner on Saturday night.
